Please reply here to let me know what URL, what browser you were using, and what you were trying to do (and what wasn't working about it)

Thanks!

Not exactly forum-related, but I noticed:

In the 'Latest Forum Posts' area on the main page.  This is with IE and Firefox.  Looks like an 'under construction' feature, but I thought I'd mention it.

Very slick upgrade so far!  Smiley

Thanks Maiku,

Glad you like 'em. I know I like it much better.  It will just take a little getting used to (having the news/forum separated).  I plan, on over time doing some mods to further integrated the main site with the forum (or vice versa)

Hopefully this is a little easier on the eyes and less scrolling than the sandwiched/previous forum.  Plus it's got a lot of cool functionality like the ability to upload avatars, and karma (you can nominate a post as good post or "meh" for not so much) =) So helpful forum posters like yourself get some sort of "credit" or acknowledgement for contributing back to the community.

Another cool feature is the "how much time you've spent online" at the top for logged in users... (just don't let the signifigant other see it! " I'm uhm... working on our taxes hon... yeah that's the ticket...")

We can also do attachments (unless it gets abused) for putting up screenies and stuff... whoooT! Grin

That was a work in progress error, thanks for letting me know though... Since i log in as admin, sometimes things look different and I might not realize that X, Y, or Z forum or functionality is locked to normal users, etc... (because I have uber-permissions!)  The sites RSS reader didn't like the XML wrapper around the forums RSS feed. *sigh*  I'm gonna get a latest threads box up there somehow!

EDIT-->BTW maiku, for now... I've enabled basic HTML support so if you don't like using BBCode you can use your regular old html tags.  Unless I discover some sort of cross site scripting attack or other tomfoolery, I'll leave it on Thffftpppppt!

rampy -- Is it my imagination or is the forum clock changing periodically?  I feel like I've had to adjust my hour offset a few times.  Am I confusing my home and work PCs?

you're not crazy... I'm the one that's crazy  Shocked the server doesn't listen to me  Cry

In the past week I've changed the time to ET... and later on in the week rebooted the server... and it defaulted back to Timbuktu time (figuratively speaking)

I'm considering a server upgrade so I've kinda let the stupid time thing go fallow for now...
