So what sort of PVR software comes with it?

Can all of the functions of it be run with the included remote (in other words can you run it all from the couch)?

How does that software compare to Sage or Beyond?

How does the picture quality compare with the WinTV-150's?

From what I can telll from the screenshot the software it come with is not even close to SageTV or BeyondTV being it Electronic Program Guide is thur TitanTV so there for it Web Base Scheduler just like Windows user that are using WinTV2000.

My guest is most likely it will not even come to it, Note: I don't own one so it hard to say for sure on what you can do, but my best guest is you need a more powerful PVR UI like MythTV Front-end for Mac or hope lee Jeff will port SageTV to Mac that support this device under Mac OS.

This will be more like a compare to Windows user WinTV2000, As it stand rigth now the UI and Layout is all ready 10x better then WinTV2000 and do belive ever thing build in to one UI unlike Windows ver software.

Picture quality compare to Windows WinTV-150, 500 or USB2 should be the same after all it the same hardware.

Thanks, being a "MacHead" I am happy to see that there is something usable coming out for Mac. It would be very cool to use a Mac Mini with something like this, since it has alot of built in features, small size, quiet, built in audio, ethernet, DVI or S-video out etc. (only drawback is the small HD).

I thing the reason why the Mac Mini drive are so small is becuase it using a 2.5 Notebook / Laptop Hard Drive.
So in that case the only real option are Network Attached Storage or External USB/Firewire Storage being the big 2.5 drive I know of is only 100GB.
