I was wondering where it went!
Anyway my question was if anyone had used this  driver for Linux, cause the USB PVR is cheaper. But, in the time between my making this post and now i found out that this one is software based. How ever, I still want to know if people have used it, and just wanted to inform people.

It's not software based (at least the encoding)... did you read that page... the WinTV PVR USB has a hardware encoder, the wintv usb does not.  The wintv PVR usb is pretty cheap (as it's usb 1.0 and discontinued -- PCAlchemy has it for under 70 beans last time i looked)... the wintv PVR usb 2 is much higher.

*Shrug*

Oh. ::Slaps Forehead:: Then that may be a good candidate.  I must have gotten that impression from one of the other websites I saw. ::Looks back at website:: Oh!!! It says Hardware Decoding, not encoding. ANyway, would it be worth it to pay extra for USB2? DO I need the extra bandwith?
