heh, well you know from your HK thread that there's at least a few other byopvr's in your neck of the woods... maybe they are all just shy or prefer non-english mapping sites?

The map is great.  I never realized that BeyondTV is actually located right here in Houston!  I actually drive by their building from time to time... scary.

:roll:Here in Sunny Southern Alberta, it
s hot and dry at the moment.  Haven't had much time lately to perruse the site, buddy of mine built one a while ago and thought it was a great idea!  So far I have yet to get to it.  Is anyone out there in this area?  Have yet to get the XBox to work...  Meanwhile back at the ranch,,, have to put up the fence, fix the deck and mow the lawn again,,,, only 5 acres!!!!  Need to know the basics;  Doesn't have to be the best but, functional.  Just waiting for my FTA reciever and dish so I can get back to what I really like, Movies.  Live in the rural outback, only dialup at the moment.

Well here's an update!  It's now November and I got a Coolsat 7K micro pvr.  Have yet to get a hard drive for it.  Have over a thousand channels at the moment, getting a little TV overload if you know what I mean.  Seems to be a little bit of a problem getting the AVI files converted to TS video files to burn to DVD.  Any ideas?  Going to give ConvertXtodvd a try when I get the old hard drive up and running.
