Have a Compaq Aero2130. Would like some help getting it back online. Where can I get OS for desktop. Do have a new battery...

chuckle, chuckle now lets be polite.  Wink

I believe what he's looking for is an operating system for his hand held pc and a replacement battery.

Johnyik unfortunately you are kind of limited in the types of operating systems you can use I think your only options are Windows CE or you could also try OPIE Linux the advantage of the linux version is at least it's free and it uses very little resources so since you have a kind of old device that may be better for you.

As far as a battery is concerned ebay is a good place to look for batteries there are so many people trying to sell them on there to make a buck that the price is usually pretty low. I don't know how they make any money at it but that's besides the point.
