Hello Everyone,

So as I slowly form my list of items for my HTPC, I am stuck on the case.  I have already put a good chunk of money into this, having purchased a Q6600, and a Blu-Ray & HD-DVD optical drive, so I don't need to get the best case out there.  But I would like to get a good case that makes the build easy.

I am planning on two hard drives, and a big honking 9600 nVidia card.  Beyond that, just an X-FI sound card.

So how would the Silverstone LC17 work?  It is $120 at Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163055).

Also, I would like to incorporate my HTPC with my MX-850 Aeros remote (http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Remote-Control-MX-850-Aeros/dp/B0007N5XPW).  How can I do this?  At a much lower priority, I would like to have a wireless keyboard and mouse for my HTPC as wll in the event I need to do certain actions like modifying the BIOS etc.  Is there a good package that will provide all of this for me?  If not, then all I really care about is integrating my HTPC actions with my MX-850 remote?  In other words, I wantto be able to watch recorded HDTV, Blu-Ray & HD-DVD movies, play music etc by pointing my MX-850 remote at my HTPC.

Thanks in advance...

I have only one comment at the moment and that has to do with the length of the video card. Try to find out the exact length.  I bring this up because I use an 8800GT in mine and I had to Mod the case to slide the two HDD carriages all the way to one side to open up a gap between the 5.25" trays and the HDD's.  And even if the card fits in there with the HDD carriages where they are be aware that the HDD itself sticks out a bit. And on top of that, if you ever decide to put in a 92mm fan or two (attach to the fronts of both HDD carriages) the HDD will stick out even farther.

The only thing I don't like about the 17 are the doors for the drives. I don't remember if you have to buy special drives or if they just don't always line up well, but for that reason I went with the LC20 instead. You can find it at Directron for a similar price:
