I'm pretty sure that is referring to Claude. They should definitely bring him back by the way.

Multiplicity Dude is about to get his ass handed to him.  And great for us, Sylar will probably now be able to multiply into many Sylars.  Ugh, I still wish they would have killed off his character in season 1.

I would agree that the guy that that guy has no idea what Samuel just sent him in to. I mean Claire beat him. Imagine what Sylar and Peter together are going to do to him.

What character do you wish they killed off? I just think they need to have more direction with the scripts for each season.

Thanks to a Superbowl ad I decided to check out tv.com and this article pretty well sums up my frustration with this show. Although I disagree with getting rid of Sylar.

I think the thing for me is it does not seem to have that season long/big picture focus. It seems we just drift show to show without any drive to the finish like the frist season had.

I would agree. I think the guy who wrote that article is right too in that they just have too many characters to manage. Although, if they had a well thought out storyline, like the first season, that may not be an issue.

Sylar should have been killed off in the first season.  Then they could have brought in different villains.  Now that they have turned him "good" again, it will just be a matter of time before he turns evil again.  Mean while, Peter is still weak and Hiro is too stupid to use his powers effectively while Claire whines about being a teenager and Matt pouts.

What they need is a Wolverine now.  A good guy who is on the edge of being bad.

I agree. The closest thing they have is Noah and he doesn't have any powers.

Yeah they just need to stop with the whole conflicted character thing. We get it already the characters don't know what to do with their powers. At some point they should figure it out. I think an edgy good guy to come in and slap them all would be a good idea.

So then the question is are they going to introduce a new character for the edgy new guy or is that what they are turning Sylar into? (Probably the closest this show has to Wolverine for popularity.)

Ok, so I actually just watched the season finale and while it tried to be like season 1 and beat the bad guy in the last moments, it just didn't have the same edgy feel to it. So I guess while it was a fine season to watch, I didn't think it was superb like I hoped. And now it seems like they're doing a rehash where everyone knows about abilities storyline. I hope it works out or I don't see this show lasting much longer. (I don't think it's been renewed for next season yet.)

I will say I did like the Peter/Samuel showdown. Kind of fun. Also nice to see the last 4-5 posts of dialog look like they are actually happening (maybe you guys knew already?) with Sylar becoming a good guy. I guess we'll just see how it all shakes out. I'm waiting for Sylar to let Peter absorb his power and then we get two ultimate good guys again. We'll see...

I read some where that they already approved another season.  And I posted my last comment after I saw the season finale.

They would need a whole new character, not Sylar, cause now he can't kill.  And I am guessing he won't beat the crap out of someone to the point of almost killing either.  Parkman can't be it, but he's the closest. Peter will be "gooder" than Sylar, since he has to now prove he is still better than Sylar.  But really, what villain could possibly go against Peter and Sylar?  The only thing I could see happening is that they run into some special that does a dirty kryptonite move on Peter to turn him dark.

Like I said, it would be much easier if they killed off Sylar at the start.  Having Peter only being able to use one power, would help with some good special vs special fights.

Well it looks like Heroes is being cancelled. There are some rumors about a speical or movie as some sort of wrap-up, but we'll see. While I agree it wasn't nearly as good as it started, I still enjoyed it. Blame it on high production costs I guess. Part of me will wonder if the strike way back in season 2 was the beginning of the end.
